The Fountain Columbaria

The Fountain Columbaria at Roselawn Cemetery is comprised of four columbarium structures nestled between a small grove of new tulip trees and mature maple trees. The placement of this feature was inspired by many requests from families with loved ones buried at Roselawn Cemetery, wanting cremation placement options closer to the historic buildings. At the center of this area, visitors will find a custom fountain intended to provide a sense of calm as it bubbles throughout the day. Surrounding the fountain are four separate, York – Eickhof Columbaria. Each columbarium has 120 niche openings. Behind each niche door is space for the placement of two urns. The columbaria are constructed of honed Barre Gray granite (from the state of Vermont) and polished Mesabi Black granite (from our great state of Minnesota).

Those choosing in-ground cremation placement, will find dozens of lawn niche options on each side of the walkway to the fountain. A lawn niche is a  4’ x 4’ in-ground space which includes room for two cremation urn placements, opening and closing fees (M-F), and a shared 2’x1’ flat grave marker. Grave marker selections in all lawn niche areas are comprised of color(s) that complement the columbaria.
