Roselawn is a non-profit 501(c)13 cemetery overseen by a board of trustees. All interment right owners are members of the cemetery association.

We would be honored to assist you with the purchase of your permanent memorial needs. At Roselawn Cemetery, you will have a personalized consultation and receive a printed (or emailed) scaled rendering of the memorial of your choosing along with any associated costs. The families we serve have been incredibly appreciative of being able to make their marker/monument/vase selections directly from the cemetery and eliminating additional costs and hassle of multiple stops and appointments.

No, we have over 160 acres of land, of which 110 acres are developed. With the remaining land and variety of above-ground cremation placement options we have plenty of space for many, many years.

Guests are welcome to visit from sunrise until sunset, 7 days/week. The office is open Monday – Friday from 8am-4:30pm, and Saturdays 9am to 3pm.

Roselawn Cemetery currently operates as a hybrid natural burial cemetery. This means that one can have a natural burial anywhere in the cemetery that allows for the in-ground placement of a body. At this time, the entirety of the cemetery burial grounds are maintained at Roselawn Cemetery; however, plans are underway for a designated natural burial section where the grounds will be minimally maintained for those choosing natural/green burial..

By purchasing in advance, you may be able to pay in installments with no interest for a defined period of time. If you are paying at the time of need, payment must be made in full 72 business hours prior to the interment..

Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover and American Express; however, a 3% fee is assessed to every credit/debit transaction.

Roselawn Cemetery does not have a crematory; however, we do have many options for memorialization of cremated remains/urn placement.

A columbarium is a free standing structure designed for permanent placement of urns. Each columbarium is comprised of many niches, which are separate compartments with their own door/cover, behind which an urn can be permanently stored and memorialized. At Roselawn, each niche is designed and priced to host and memorialize two urns.

Please refer to our general price list for cremation options at Roselawn Cemetery. Each niche price includes placement of 2 urns (M-F 9am-3pm), basic engraving for 2 (Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial, Year of Birth and Year of Death), burial recording fees, and perpetual maintenance.

Urns can be placed in-ground, in existing traditional sized burial lots or in our designated Lawn Niche sections. A lawn niche is approximately 16 square feet and includes interment (M-F 9am-3pm), 2’x1’ granite marker with basic engraving, recording fees, and perpetual maintenance for the urns of two people.

With the exception of green/natural burial, outer burial containers are required for most in-ground casketed interments at Roselawn Cemetery. Roselawn does not presently require the use of urn vaults for urn burial. If you would like to have your urn placed in an urn vault, they can be purchased directly through the cemetery or through the cremation provider.

The Chapel sanctuary is available for our interment right owners to use at no cost (M-F). The adjacent gathering room/fireside room is available and the fee is associated with the type of use.

When considering casketed burial locations you’ll want to consider the number of family members that wish to be memorialized in the same area. We have single, double, and family lots available. You will also need to decide if you want an upright headstone/monument or a flat marker. The purchase price is dependent on the location in the cemetery and type of memorial chosen (upright monument or flat marker area).

A crypt is an above ground place for casket entombment. At Roselawn, these are currently available in the community mausoleum. The advantages to choosing a crypt at Roselawn is you will not need to purchase a burial vault or headstone and each crypt includes opening/closing fees (M-F 9am-3pm), and basic engraving on the crypt door.
